TANK MAN:

This photo was taken during the Tiananmen protests in 1989. I wanted to understand why a single man is standing up to a column of tanks. And apparently he did it as a symbol in turn of the repression of the Chinese Communist Army.
In the background of the image We can see a gray road. On top of this road has painted arrows I lines to mark the path. In the center, We can see what three green tanks of War are. These tanks seem to be quite large comparing them to the lord. Inside these there may be more than one soldier. As I mentioned before, there's a man. He's dressed in a white shirt and some gray pants. In his hands he carries what appears to be two white plastic bags. It seems as if he has just came back from shopping, because of the two white plastic bags. It might be that before going shopping he was working due to his black formal trousers and white T-shirt.

In my opinion, this man is very brave, since he stood there without any kind of weapon, knowing that the tanks could shoot him, but he did not move for more than two minutes. This image impacted me a lot because it seemed to me to be an unusual and unequal situation.
